The owners of this two-bedroom flat in North Greenwich needed to sell their property quickly. They knew staging would increase the sale price, but traditional full-service staging companies were too expensive. They decided to source the furniture themselves but needed a professional eye to make sure it didn’t look like a DIY job.
Our Approach
This project was all about high impact for low cost. Instead of a full design package, we worked on a hybrid model. We started with a one-hour video call to review their shopping list before they bought anything. We flagged potential issues with sizing and identified key missing pieces that would pull the look together. Once the furniture arrived, we spent four hours in the flat. We didn’t just place cushions; we curated the space. We advised on what to keep, what to return and how to position items to highlight the flat’s best assets, like the large windows and open-plan flow.
The Result
By mixing the client’s own high-street finds (including budget-friendly pieces from IKEA and B&Q) with our styling expertise, we achieved a “show home” look without the price tag. The flat felt cohesive, spacious and ready for market, proving that you don’t need a luxury budget to create a luxury feel, just a strategic plan.
