The owners of this two-bedroom flat in North Greenwich were looking to sell their property quickly and for the best possible price. They understood the importance of home staging but needed a solution that was both effective and mindful of their budget. Rather than using a full-service staging company, they decided to manage the sourcing themselves, enlisting our help to ensure the final styling was polished and elevated.
Our Approach: Strategic Styling on a Budget
Our role was to provide expert guidance and a professional eye. The process began with a one-hour virtual consultation to review their furniture plan, address any potential issues and identify missed opportunities before a single item was purchased. The real work began during a four-hour on-site styling session. We worked collaboratively with the clients, arranging furniture, placing decorations and styling each room to maximise its appeal to potential buyers. We advised them on which items to keep, what needed to be returned and what was still lacking to create a cohesive and inviting space.

The transformation was remarkable. The client’s commitment to sourcing their own pieces, combined with our professional guidance, created a beautifully staged home on a fraction of the budget. While many of the items were from high-street retailers, the thoughtful placement and careful curation made the flat feel more like a high-end show home than a flat-pack furniture showroom.
The finished space was not only practical and welcoming but also highlighted the flat’s best features, including its large windows and open-plan layout. This project is a perfect example of how a collaborative styling approach can yield incredible results, proving that strategic design expertise can elevate any space, regardless of the budget.
